Okay, so my opponent needs to have 3 creatures in play? That sounds tough....? If for whatever reason you opponent needs a little encouragement, we can always just play Forbidden Orchard and keep going as we were planning.
So we can grab any TWO creatures? Come one, wake up and smell the combo! Sure, we can go boring and grab Emrakul and Ulamog, but there's so many more cool things to do! Like grabbing Iona, Shield of Emeria and Painter's Servant. Have them both name blue and then go to the bathroom to cleam up the inside of your pants. Having a 3 turn clock while your opponent isn't allowed to cast spells for the rest of the game sounds fair right? Oh, and by the way, even though all our cards are blue, it's only our opponent who can't cast blue spells (naming blue makes Force of Will go over the top). So we can still Swords to Plowshares whatever our opponent has left.
Yes, I am suggesting that you play this in Counterbalance. However, there is such little restriction with this card that we can play it in any green deck we want! We could have 8 creatures and our opponent 3, and this would still trigger. Maybe you can use this in your Zoo deck? The choices with this card is basically limitless! Here's what I would suggest for ths card in Counterbalance:
3x Defense of the Heart
4x Sensei's Divining Top
4x Counterbalance
4x Enlightened Tutor
4x Brainstorm
4x Force of Will
4x Swords to Plowshares
2x Krosan Grip
1x Moat
1x Engineered Explosives
1x Vedalken Shackles
2x Counterspell
2xVendillion Clique
1x Iona, Shield of Emeria
1x Painter's Servant
2x Rhox War Monk
4x Flooded Strand
2x Misty Rainforest
1x Forest
1x Island
1x Plains
4x Forbidden Orchard
3x Tundra
3x Tropical Island
1x Tolaria West
Like I said, there are so many broken things you can do with this card it's not even funny! I don't think you will ever be dissapointed with this card! Until next time, stay classy!
